How to Fish Wiki

This task directory points to the right How to Fish guide or tool without pretending to cover every fish, system or possible fix.

Browse the task guides

01

Start with your next task

Use the guide directory when you know the task name, or the islands route when you want the progression order. The beginner guide gives a short first-run sequence, while the bait guide compares the Leech and Carrot tasks.

02

Progression and boss guides

The island route explains the three-island model and links outward when a task becomes relevant. Use the Leech Bait and Carrot Bait pages for their separate handoffs.

For bosses, open the Piranha boss guide for a bounded player-reported solo loop, or the Pufferfish guide for the Owner-verified summon, attack, drop and delivery sequence. Those are different entities and do not share a target page.

03

Multiplayer and troubleshooting

The max-player guide owns the up-to-8-player lobby answer, solo/co-op modes and private-lobby boundary. Platforms owns Windows, controller, crossplay and dated free-to-play status.

If a lobby join shows a black screen, use the join-screen checklist for the official patch wording, Steam restart and relay-indicator handoff.

04

Tools and reference pages

The Player Count page displays a current Steam concurrent-player snapshot. That number is not the lobby limit and not a historical chart.

The achievement tracker works in your browser, while the earnings calculator estimates one selected item. Sale Values is the compact lookup list behind that tool.

05

Updates and quick answers

Updates separates official Patch 1.0.4 through 1.0.9. The FAQ gives concise supported answers and sends each question to its canonical owner page.

A complete all-fish route is not published because the accepted data does not support a trustworthy full roster.
